I really enjoyed this book and getting to know more about Aubrey， Eli， and Thunder。 The story itself was the brother’s best friend and of course we can’t be with that person especially when said brother warned off said friend。 But of course， when the chemistry is there， all bets are off。 This story is great， and I liked watching Aubrey become a little more pliant in her OCD ways and Eli is wanting to take a chance again especially considering how he grew up。 Of course， we have the little additio I really enjoyed this book and getting to know more about Aubrey， Eli， and Thunder。 The story itself was the brother’s best friend and of course we can’t be with that person especially when said brother warned off said friend。 But of course， when the chemistry is there， all bets are off。 This story is great， and I liked watching Aubrey become a little more pliant in her OCD ways and Eli is wanting to take a chance again especially considering how he grew up。 Of course， we have the little addition of K causing problems， but that situation was figured out， and I liked how the story ended for Aubrey， Eli， and Thunder。 I am a little curious since they were talking about their new suitemates， maybe something new for us down the road and I also love the set-up for Cici’s book with their new contract they were able to get during this story。 Really looking forward to Cici’s story。 。。。more

Another delightful， fun read in the Main In Miami series。 Aubrey and Eli are absolutely perfect for each other and it was fun seeing Aubrey loosen up and her and Eli fall for each other。 This story had humor， romance， a hint of danger， a delightful pooch and was a heartwarming story。 Look forward to the next book in the series。

I just finished reading book 4 in the Maid in Miami series。 This book is about Aubrey Shepard and Eli Mathews。 Aubrey is being stalked by an ex-boyfriend and when she tells her best friends and her brother， they suggest she hire a bodyguard。 Her brother Jake comes up with the perfect solution。 His best friend Eli has retired from the Marines and just returned to Miami。 Eli currently doesn’t have a job and Jake suggests he become Aubrey’s bodyguard since he would be someone Aubrey knows because E I just finished reading book 4 in the Maid in Miami series。 This book is about Aubrey Shepard and Eli Mathews。 Aubrey is being stalked by an ex-boyfriend and when she tells her best friends and her brother， they suggest she hire a bodyguard。 Her brother Jake comes up with the perfect solution。 His best friend Eli has retired from the Marines and just returned to Miami。 Eli currently doesn’t have a job and Jake suggests he become Aubrey’s bodyguard since he would be someone Aubrey knows because Eli practically lived at the Shepard home while growing up。 When Jake tells Aubrey his idea， she is hesitant because she always had a crush on Eli when they were younger， but she finally agrees。Eli shows up at Aubrey’s with a duffle bag and his dog Thunder， a pit bull that failed training in the Marines and was adopted by Eli。 Aubrey is a neat freak with OCD and not a dog person。 There are some laughs when Aubrey tries to keep her place clean with a shedding slobbering dog， but she ends up falling in love with the dog。Since the bodyguard job is only temporary Eli must decide what he’s going to do with this future。 He trained dogs in the Marines， so he decides to open a dog training facility that provides service dogs to veterans with disabilities。 Since Aubrey is a math whiz and helped start the Maid in Miami business， Eli enlists her help to set up his business。As you can guess the two end up falling in love， even though Eli never planned on getting attached and Aubrey thought someone like Eli would never been interested in her。 I thoroughly enjoyed this book。 I loved the story and the characters but was a little let down over the resolution to the stalking situation。 This is a fun series to read！ If you haven’t read the series， I recommend you start！ I can’t wait for the next book。 。。。more

Messing with the Bodyguard is the latest book in Breezie Bennett’s Maid in Miami series。 Aubrey and Eli’s love story checked all the boxes for me with a protective ex-military hero， a smart heroine， and an awesome dog。 This is my favorite book in the series （so far！） which is really saying something since I’ve adored all the others。 This delightfully sweet story is the perfect heartwarming escape。 I can’t wait for Cici’s story next！

Breezie Bennett has done it again and continues to give her readers incredible romantic comedies！ I loved Messing with the Bodyguard， the fourth book in her Maid in Miami series。 Breezie Bennett definitely did not disappoint with Messing with the Bodyguard and has once again delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I have come to love and expect in a Breezie Bennett romantic comedy， especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner。 I loved reading eve Breezie Bennett has done it again and continues to give her readers incredible romantic comedies！ I loved Messing with the Bodyguard， the fourth book in her Maid in Miami series。 Breezie Bennett definitely did not disappoint with Messing with the Bodyguard and has once again delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I have come to love and expect in a Breezie Bennett romantic comedy， especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner。 I loved reading every moment on every page and could not put it down。 Breezie Bennett has once again provided her readers with the amazing characters， that I have come to love and expect in her books， they feel like family！ I love the lighter moments in Messing with the Bodyguard， where I found myself smiling and laughing。 Breezie Bennett continues to prove with Messing with the Bodyguard that she is a master storyteller。 Who does not love hot sexy men， strong females， and loving friends who always support one another， they are all such wonderful characters？ I love how Breezie Bennett somehow， she manages to find the "perfect" heroine， who is a strong woman on her own， to balance out the sexy man。 Once more her characters in Messing with the Bodyguard are so believable and charming， they share great chemistry， and lots of laughs。 I love that Breezie Bennett writes in the first person from the perspective of the two main characters。 I enjoy getting to see things from the viewpoints of the main characters。 Messing With the Bodyguard is the story of Aubrey Shepard， co-owner （with her best friends） of Maid in Miami， a high-end cleaning company and her brother， Jake’s best friend and her first crush， Elijah Matthews， former Marine。 Who does not love a best friend’s little sister love story？ As a pre-teen and teenager， Aubrey had a crush on Elijah since he was always spending time together at the Shepard’s home。 Elijah left the Marines after a decade and returned to Miami， not sure what to do next with his life。 Aubrey’s former boyfriend has been stalking her， and Jake asks Elijah if he could work as a bodyguard to protect Aubrey。 Elijah and his pit bull， Thunder move into Aubrey’s home。 As Aubrey and Elijah spend time together with Elijah sleeping on her couch and being her bodyguard， their relationship quickly changes。 I love how Jake talked to both Elijah and Aubrey about getting involved with one another。 They confess their true feelings for one another， and how Aubrey reveals that she had a crush on Elijah。 I love Elijah and Aubrey’s love story， and how the plot twists changes things between them。 I love how with Aubrey’s encouragement and help; Elijah is able to determine what to do with his life。 I also love how Breezie Bennett included Leo Sterling， from her South Florida Riders series in Messing with the Bodyguard。 I love the amazing chemistry between Aubrey and Elijah。 I love the characters and the friendships in Messing with the Bodyguard， the characters truly feel like best friends。 Who does not love friends that always have each other’s backs？ Messing With the Bodyguard is filled with all those things that I have come to long and expect from Breezie Bennett， incredible characters， amazing story， light， poignant and bittersweet moments， and surprise plot twists。 The most bittersweet moment was Elijah feelings about when you love people， and how when you rely on them， depend on them， and need them， they leave。 She did not disappoint in her delivery of those things。 I love how she resolved the unexpected plot twist; it was truly a heartwarming moment。 I loved the ending， and how it hints as to the identity of the hero in the next story and hopefully a sneak peek idea for her next series。 I cannot wait read the other books in the series。 My favorite part of the story was Elijah’s proposal， and I especially love how Thunder was included in his proposal。 I absolutely loved it！ I could not put the book down; I loved every moment。 It was an amazing story and I highly recommend it。 。。。more

Five friends from college come together to start a Maid service business in Miami that is a great success。 In the first 3 books in this series Lilly， Meredith and Bianca all get their happy ever afters。 Messing With The Bodyguard is book 4 and we get Aubrey’s story。 She has been having trouble with an old boyfriend stalking her。 She is a bit freaked out and so is her brother， Jake。 His best friend is home from the military and needs a place to stay and so Jake has the idea for Eli to be Aubrey’s Five friends from college come together to start a Maid service business in Miami that is a great success。 In the first 3 books in this series Lilly， Meredith and Bianca all get their happy ever afters。 Messing With The Bodyguard is book 4 and we get Aubrey’s story。 She has been having trouble with an old boyfriend stalking her。 She is a bit freaked out and so is her brother， Jake。 His best friend is home from the military and needs a place to stay and so Jake has the idea for Eli to be Aubrey’s bodyguard until this situation is resolved。 This is a fun story because Aubrey is a little OCD and Eli comes with a messy， fur shedding， adorable pit bull who is afraid of storms。 While Aubrey is getting used to her home being a bit messy， she is also getting to know the grown-up version of her brother’s childhood best friend。I loved Eli and Aubrey’s story as the plot was good， the interaction between the two was fun with the antics of the dog thrown in。 It was lovely watching these two fall in love， while trying to be safe from unknown harm and Eli healing a bit from his past hurts。 Bodyguard is a fun story with great characters and I look forward to Cici’s story。 。。。more

I found this romance to be quite fun to read。 Eli and Aubrey are so adorable together though they did have a lot of issues to deal with。 I have really enjoyed this series so far as they have all been sweet， funny and romantic。 I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion。
